Joseph Janangelo serves on the editorial board of Young Scholars in Writing, and wrote "Anatomy of an Article" in order to support the work of undergraduate researchers and their generous mentors. Joe is past president of the Council of Writing Program Administrators and associate professor of English at Loyola University Chicago where he chairs the English Department’s Committee on Departmental Self-Study and Assessment.  Joe’s publications include Resituating Writing: Constructing and Administering Writing Programs (with Kristine Hansen) and Theoretical and Critical Perspectives on Teacher Change. His work has appeared in College Composition and Communication, College English, Computers and Composition, Journal of Teaching Writing, Rhetoric Review, The Writing Center Journal, and WPA: Writing Program Administration.
