Although coffee talk is often intriguing and spurns many ideas and arguments, it can not be considered scholarly. Many web sites provide neat factoids and cool displays which are more a form of entertainment than a source of knowledge. It is easy to become lost when "surfing" the web, often one site links to another, progressing the reader through a maze of information. Unfortunately, this can send the reader on a tangent that they never intended. This can be embraced as a new sense of freedom, or it could cause panic as the reader is lost in a chaotic quagmire of information. Although this is sometimes frustrating, this is also the beauty of the internet and works written in hypertext. The reader decides the path he wants to follow, so the same experience may never happen again.
