CTHEORY is an international, electronic review of books on theory, technology and culture. Sponsored
by the Canadian Journal of Political and Social Theory, reviews are posted periodically of key books in
contemporary discourse as well as theorisations of major "event-scenes" in the mediascape.
Computer-Mediated Communication Studies Center
This Center is dedicated to serving the needs of researchers, students, teachers, and practitioners interested in computer-mediated communication (CMC). This Center helps people share information, make contacts, collaborate, and learn about developments and events. If you are interested in CMC studies, you are invited to participate.
Global Encyclopedia
Global Encyclopedia is a growing online encyclopedia written by volunteer authors. These volunteers
tend to believe a) that the basic information needed for an education should be free, or b) that the
lack of a free encyclopedia is a major shortcoming of the internet, or both a) and b).
FREE Internet Encyclopedia
This encyclopedia is composed of information available on Internet. There are two main divisions.
The MacroReference contains references to large areas of knowledge, FAQs where available, and
pointers to relevant areas of the MicroReference. The MicroReference contains short bits of information
and references to specific subjects, sometimes with instructions on finding the specific subject inside a
general reference.
